MED+ Urgent Medical Care Services, located in the heart of Montgomery, opened its doors in November 2004 to conveniently serve the needs of schools in Montgomery and in neighboring communities. The new urgent care center is a much-welcomed addition to the Montgomery area, as MED+ offers high-quality treatment for non life-threatening injuries and illnesses, sports' and school physicals on a walk-in basis.
Located at 9549 Montgomery Road with plenty of free parking, MED+ Urgent Medical Care Services is open longer than most primary care physicians' offices. MED+ is an alternative to a hospital emergency room. The facility, which provides a comfortable waiting area for families, quick and friendly check-in and timely attention by its team of experienced urgent care specialists, is also open weekends.
Services range from immunizations and tetanus shots to treatment of minor cuts, burns and fractures, as well as seasonal ailments such as sore throats, coughs, earaches, fever and flu symptoms. Drug screenings are also available. Additionally, the physicians at MED+ can conduct sports' and school examinations, and MED+ keeps each school's unique forms on file.
As an added benefit, MED+ accepts a wide range of insurance programs and convenient customer payment options, such as major credit cards, Medical Savings Plan debit cards, checks and cash. MED+ is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday hours are from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. For more information, call 513-489-3737.
