This Fourth of July, it might not have been that rare to spot a shark in Sharonville.
On Independence Day, the patriotically decorated MED+ Shark Attack Trailer took first prize for participating in the Sharonville Fourth of July Parade Float Contest. The Shark Attack Trailer is made up of a 10-foot shark perched atop a trailer with a boot extruding from its mouth. The MED+ Shark Trailer was towed by a pickup truck full of young "shark bite" victims.
The trailer began as a sight gag on April Fools’ Day when a MED+ employee’s Key West fishing trailer was decorated with the boot and a sign that read, "APRIL 1ST ONLY—FREE Shark Attack Treatment. All other days – non life threatening injuries and illnesses." Since then, the trailer has become a recognizable community icon

Located at 9549 Montgomery Road with plenty of free parking, MED+ Urgent Medical Care Services is a unique health care facility because it’s open longer than most primary physicians’ offices and is a convenient alternative to an emergency room. Since the physician-patient relationship at MED+ is event-based to treat only non life-threatening injuries and illnesses, physicians will agree that MED+ is a positive addition to the area’s health care community.
MED+ Urgent Medical Care Services accepts a wide range of insurance programs, Worker’s Compensation plans, major credit cards, Medical Savings Plan debit cards, checks and cash. MED+ is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday hours are from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. In addition to these hours, MED+ has also announced special hours to accommodate high school athletes.
